2008 Policies
and Procedures
Administration:
1. The Club Manager has the discretion to make decisions promoting the most effective and efficient use of the clubhouse and golf course.
House Policies:
1. The Clubhouse will be open at hours specified by the Board.
2. The Lake City Golf Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
3. Shirts and shoes are required on all Lake City Golf Club property.
4. Food or drink may not be brought into the clubhouse without the permission of the club manager.
5. Wednesday and Thursday dinners are open to all.
6. Charge accounts are due by the 20th of the following month, if not paid by the 30th, charging privileges will be withdrawn.
7. Complaints shall be submitted to the Club Manager or the Board of Directors.
8. Patron sitting at the bar in the clubhouse must be at least 18 years or be accompanied by an adult.
Course Policies:
1. USGA rules govern all play except where local rules apply. (see scorecard)
2. No metal golf spikes
3. All tee times are open to the public except when otherwise indicated.
4. All golfers must register in clubhouse before teeing off.
5. No starting on any hole other than one designated as a starting hole.
6. Members may reserve tee times 7 days in advance. Non-members may reserve tee times 3 days in advance.
7. Wednesday tee times are reserved for female members until Monday at 8:00am. Any open tee times are then available to male members and the public.
8. Thursday tee times are reserved for male members until Tuesday at 8:00am. Any open tee times are then available for female members or the public.
9. The Starter may combine groups to fill foursomes.
10. Use of tee areas, fairways and green for practice is prohibited, use designed practice area.
11. Slower players are expected to allow faster players to play through.
12. A ball is considered lost if not found in 5 minutes.
13. All players must have their own set of clubs.
14. All tournament players must be at least 18 years or older unless otherwise indicated.
15. All beverages brought on the course must be purchased from the club.
16. The High School golf teams will be given privileges as determined by the Board of Directors.
17. An adult must accompany any golfer under 15 on weekends and holidays.
Motorized Carts:
1. All motorized carts will be registered with the club manager.
2. Golfers under the age of 16 shall not operate a golf cart.
3. Cart owners are responsible for liability insurance coverage.
4. The club is not responsible for theft, fire or any other damage to any member’s cart.
5. The club is not responsible for any damages due to accident involving the operation of member owned carts.
6. Only two carts per foursome, one cart per twosome.
7. Keep golf carts on all paths and at least 30 feet away from greens.
8. One shed rent per season for each cart occupying a shed.
9. Must be a golfing member to have a shed.
10. Carts stored at club must be in a cart shed.
11. One seasonal course use fee (trail fee) for each membership using a cart.
12. Non-members using a members cart without the presence of the member must pay a daily trail fee. The guest of a member is not responsible for the trail fee if he or she is riding with the member.
13. Non-members must pay the daily fee. They may not take advantage of yearly course use fee.
